Parking Lot Wars
Parking Lot Wars is a casual, two-player racing game based off the experience of on-campus parking. The players play on one phone, and attempt to race to the open parking spot without getting damaged by either the player or events on the screen. The first to gain three suitcase items wins the game.
Features
Car Selection
This game features a car-select screen. The three cars that can be chosen all have different statistics. The sports car offers speed at the cost of poor handling. The SUV offers superb handling and can take more damage, at the cost of reduced speed. And lastly, the sedan is a balanced vehicle in terms of speed and manuverability.
Multiple Levels
The game offers a total of three playable levels. The levels are based off of the seasons, which means there is a winter level, summer level, and a fall/autumn level for the players to enjoy.
Final Thoughts
Parking Lot Wars tested the team's ability to develop with extremely limited time. My team inherited this project from a group of developers, and it was our task to progress its development. It is currently a project that belongs to Calfornia State University San Bernardino, who will take over its development.
